Queer As Folk Essays

In the beginning, QAF is really good, well-written and sexy. And by the end, when it's degenerated into utter crap and Brian asks Justin to marry him, because he's fucked all the hot men in Pittsburgh, and no one really wants him anymore, except for Justin, I can't look away because by then I'm emotionally invested in these people. I want to see them be happy. Even to the bitter, badly-written end.

I'm not the only one right?

yeah, you are right.
The end is not that good. I´m "happy ending" person. And I don´t see anything like that ... ;(

I actually think the show ended well. About as well as it could considering the storyline choices the writers decided to make prior to season 5.

My biggest complaint is the Brian/Justin relationship went on waaaay too long. That couple should have ended seasons before the end. And not necessarily to facilitate a Mike/Brian pairing but because by the end I found them to be UTTERLY UNBELIEVABLE.

ITA, which is why I have nothing to add to your comment.

The British version ended better.
